The Heart of God for Chertsey

Older People

We have specialised ministries to older people in the wider community.

‘Coffee Break’ takes place every Friday morning from 10am and is a popular meeting point for many older people from within the Chertsey Community.

Once a month this is extended to include ‘Food for Thought’ at 12.15pm. This is a time of informal worship followed by a meal together.

The Runnymede Alzheimers Group also join ‘Coffee Break’ with carers most weeks.

‘Songs of Praise’

DSCF0039bThis meets once a month on the second Wednesday at 2.30pm. This service includes favourite hymns, readings and a ‘thought for the day’.

It is followed by an excellent afternoon tea. Transport can be arranged.
