What is Alpha?

Alpha is an 11 week course that helps people explore the essentials of the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening and friendly atmosphere. It runs as a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. 

Alpha is aimed at people who want to take some time to think & talk about the meaning of life along side other interested people.

It’s a course that helps people explore the essentials of the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening and friendly atmosphere. We enjoy a meal together, listen to a talk then spend time chatting about the talk.

Alpha is open to anyone, whether you consider yourself a Christian or not. If at any point you decide Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge. 

Who is Alpha for?
The Alpha course is for anyone wanting to investigate Christianity for themselves, newcomers to the church, new Christians and those who want to look again at the foundations of their faith. Alpha is open to anyone, whether you consider yourself a Christian or not.

Hundreds of people have completed the Alpha Course in Chertsey. Alpha offers the opportunity to be curious, to think about the meaning of life and to ask questions and you will without doubt make some new friends. It really is for everyone whoever you are.
