The Heart of God for Chertsey

Ringing at Chertsey dedicated in solidarity with Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris

A total of ten ringers, comprising those from Chertsey and friends from other towers in the area, rang all eight bells at Chertsey in solidarity with the people of France following the devastating fire. It is also planned that we take part in the national event on 18th April and toll our tenor bell at 7pm. Chertsey’s bells date from the 14th Century and weigh between 525kg and 1025kg.

The video below records the event which was also listed here in the Ringing World.
