Help us create a new pair of banners to hang at the front of our church.
We are inviting any young person aged 11–18 to submit designs for two new banners that will help make our church a welcoming and inspiring place of worship. The winning design will be professionally printed at full size and displayed prominently at the front of the church. Runner-up entries may also be printed at a smaller scale and displayed around the church.
Design two matching banners, each measuring 60cm x 145cm:
Banner 1 Text: “Come, Holy Spirit”
Banner 2 Text: “You are welcome here”
We would love to see your creativity. We are looking for designs that are contemporary, welcoming, and visually engaging. They do not need to feel traditionally “churchy”, but they should be appropriate for a space of worship and reflect the themes of welcome, faith, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
You might want to use Christian symbols such as a dove, cross, flame or light.
Please bear in mind the existing colours within the church. Our parish colour is navy blue, and the seating is burgundy red, so designs that complement the space are encouraged.
The Church is open daily and you are welcome to come and see the space where the banners will be hung.
