We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic death of a little girl in Chertsey. St Peter’s Church is here to serve and support the community, and we recognise that many people will be distressed by what has happened.
On Saturday (27th June) and Sunday (28th June) between 1pm to 5pm we warmly invite anyone who wishes to come in to light a candle, say a quiet prayer or have a moment of reflection. There will also be Church members available to pray with anyone who would appreciate this.
The church is always open every day for anyone who wishes to come and pray between 9am-5pm in Windsor Street, Chertsey.
We are holding in our prayers all those affected by this very sad news, including the police as they continue their investigations.
